  2. Hi Alex and Maddie, this was very interesting science session! What were some of the more interesting leaves that you found? What were one of the questions that you asked that really split the leaves apart? Looking good!!

  5. Dear Lydia,
Thank you very much for the comment. We used the question "Is it shiny?" Surprisingly we had a lot of shiny leaves. What about your group, What was your favourite question?

  6. Dear Alex and Maddie,
That science lesson looked really fun.I liked how you said what you learnt and how you explained what Classification and Dichotomous Keys was. Did anyone know what Classification and Dichotomous Keys was before you got told? We liked doing cool experiments with Science Alive.

  7. Hi Alex and Maddie

This sounds like so much fun. Where did you get the leaves for this? Did you find this hard or easy, to me this sounds quite hard.

  10. Dear Gracie,
Thanks for you comment! We got the leaves from around the school. It is quite easy if you get a good explanation. I can help you make it if you want?

  11. Dear Julia
Thanks for your comment! Nobody knew what a dichotomous key was before we started so it was all new to us. I can show you how to do it if you want. You don't have to use leaves but because our science lessons this year are going to be about plants we decided to use leaves.
    Best Wishes Maddie

We thought of the question "is the stalk exposed?" and that really split them apart. What was your favourite leave??
