Hi everyone! This is an article to inform you about what fun we had at our Sport Tournament on Friday the 4th of August.
Basic Information
There were three different sports to play - Soccer, netball and hockey. We play this tournament to try and get through to the Canterbury Sports tournament. Each team plays around 5 games and only the top two teams go through to the next round. Each team that entered trains once a week and has been playing against other schools on Thursday every week.

Selwyn House School Year 7&8 A hockey team - 3rd place

Netball
Selwyn House School Year 7&8 A netball team - 2nd place
Selwyn House School Year 7&8 B netball team - 5th place
Selwyn House School Year 5&6 A netball team - 1st place
Selwyn House School Year 7&8 soccer team - 6th
Selwyn House School Year 5&6 soccer team - 5th & 7th
Overall, it was a really fun day with lots of excitement and sun. Everyone really enjoyed getting into their games and trying their best. When all of the soccer players came back to school you could tell that they had tried hard as they were caked in mud!
